Moose Jaw Blog

Posted 21/2/2019

Variety Night Act, Blog #6

“Moose Jaw are a tribute to the very best of stadium rock from the 70's to present. Concentrating much more on the very best songs by the biggest bands ever to grace the world's largest arenas, but from a more mature, AOR audience-friendly viewpoint. Think along the lines of Journey, Aerosmith, Foreigner, Whitesnake, Van Halen, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Muse… to name but a few. The set of songs Moose Jaw perform are not 3 minute, fast and furious "pop ditties". They are all epic rock songs given the full grandiose production you would expect to see in any world class stadium or arena anywhere in the world.”

We are really looking to forward to hearing from Moose Jaw on Sunday!

Wall Heath Ladies Choir Blog

Posted 19/2/2019

Variety Night Act, Blog #2

“WHLC Wall Heath Ladies Choir was established in June 2018 with the hope of bringing together like minded ladies who live to sing and have fun. We began in September with an open evening.
Our rehearsals on a Thursday evening, at Church of Ascension in Wall Heath, are full of beautiful singing and laughter.
Our Musical Director. Karen McKee is a professional singer and vocal coach and she brings lots of experience as well as tremendous energy and humour.
The choir has come together beautifully, and have all become friends in three short months. We are a dozen strong, but will always welcome new members.
Our aim is to come together to sing and perform in the community, promoting the beautiful village of Wall Heath, and to bring our joy of singing to audiences throughout the Borough."

We are really looking forward to hearing WHLC on Sunday!

To buy tickets, contact Ceri Davies on 07946571964.
